Do I have to pay extra for postage? The majority of UK buyers will not have to pay any extra. As postage is included in the displayed price. If you are buying more than a 2 metre post however; please contact me prior to purchase, so I can check the postage cost. Also if you live in an area that is usually charged more for postage, i.e. some parts of Scotland/northern Ireland etc; then it would be best to email me, prior to purchase. I can then get double check the postage cost, and give you an accurate price. Failure to contact me prior to purchase may result in the cancellation of your order.
Where do you post to? At the moment I post to the UK only. If you are from another country and want to purchase, then please contact me so I can get a quote for Postage, and give you an accurate price. Thank you.
Why do I have to provide a mobile phone number? I ask for a mobile phone number, because My hermes and parcel force request one. They wont let me book the delivery unless one is provided. They need it so they can keep you updated, with your delivery.
How long do I need to wait for my order to arrive? I ask that a week be allowed for delivery. I state this to allow for any orders I may have to complete; before starting yours. It also allows me time to receive any materials I may be waiting for. However the majority of my posts are made the same day as your payment. Collected the next day and delivered the day after that.
How do I know when my item is ready? I will email you once your item is ready. I then book it in with My Hermes for delivery. As soon as I receive confirmation and the tracking number. I then email that to you also.
Are all of your materials cat safe? Yes. I don't use treated rope. If I don't know what the material has in it. Then I don't use it.
Can I get an item made to my specification? Yes. If you have seen a wall post but feel it is too long or too wide. Just send me an email with your requirements and I will see what I can do.
Why don't you offer bright pink/blue sisal etc? At the moment I don't offer anything that is dyed or treated. Not because I don't want to, but because I can't be sure of what has been used in the dying process. I won't use anything if I'm not 100% certain it is cat safe. So for the time being the bright pinks and blues are on hold, but watch this space.
What guarantee do you offer? I offer a 12 month guarantee on the structure of my products. I don't guarantee the rope because different cats scratch at different rates; plus you may have a multi cat household. Which means your post will get more use than the post I made for Ollie. If you have any problems. Just send me an email and I will do everything I can to help you.
Why don't you glue the sisal rope? My technique for fixing the 6mm sisal rope allows for slight movement within the rope which is beneficial to your kitty and stops claw damage. Sisal rope expands and contracts and sticking it into place would cause damage to the post. Sisal rope expands when warm and contracts when wet. It wont really affect you if you are using it as an inside product. When I make the posts I tie the rope as tight as possible. If it gets warm the coils expand and slacken off a little. This is easily remedied by spraying the coils with a bit of water.
What payment methods do you have? The shopping cart on my website has two options. You can pay via paypal or pay via stripe using your debit/credit card. I can also invoice you directly if you prefer.
